It's the night before NYFW and all through the streets, the fashion folks scurry with their stilettoed feet.
Consider me your NYFW spirit guide. I've rounded up a few helpful resources to navigate you through the next fashion-filled week.
Where To Watch Real-Time Fashion Week Footage
Thanks to the good people at Mercedes-Benz, IMG, and Rightster, fashion fiends like you and me will be able to see the shows live streamed on Facebook and the official MBFW website.
If photos are more your thing, check out Style.com for live-uploaded pictures straight from the runways. The site also provides summaries of the collection, brief designer bios, and information about each line's inspiration.
Who to Follow on Twitter and Instagram
Comprehensive coverage of NYFW wouldn't be complete without the opinions of a few fashion influencers. Models, in-house PR professionals, bloggers, journalists, and fashion news reporters can be incredible first-hand sources during the week. Not only are they snapping front-row photos and pre-show information, but they also can give you a look into New York Fashion Week's most fabulous parties and backstage exclusives.
Leandra Medine (of Man Repeller) is a great fashion insider, and her tone is super conversational and fun. Her street style will definitely be something to watch over the next seven days. Blogger-turned-reality star Bryanboy and his blogger BFF Rumi Neely (of Fashion Toast) are digital mavens. They keep their updates coming on a moment by moment basis, and are often invited to the best parties and the coolest shows. Follow them for a well-rounded view of the week's festivities.
Author, Harper's Bazaar Editor-At-Large, and model BFF Derek Blasberg (one of my personal heros and lifestyle mentors) does a great job of covering the week from a personal and journalistic standpoint on his Twitter account.

Who I'm Excited To See
Of course, New York Fashion Week wouldn't be anything without street style star and celebrity sightings. I'm excited to see two of my favorite street style bloggers, Pinterest-favorite Elin Kling and plus model Nadia Aboulhosn. They always look amazing, and I can't wait to see what they're going to wear.
On the editorial side of things, Anna Dello Russo and Andre Leon Talley are always fabulous, grand, and a little out of the box. However, they are at their absolute best during NYFW. ADR is often criticized for her zany outfits and outrageous style, but I think it's fantastic. If everyone dressed the same, this industry would be boring. ALT is just amazing and he gives a damn good interview, too.
I really can't wait to see my favorite celebrity sibling--Elizabeth Olsen--and everyone's favorite reality star-turned-socialite-turned-fashion icon-Olivia Palermo (formerly of MTV's The City). Olsen brings a "cool girl" ease to everything she wears. It doesn't hurt that her sisters are two of the greatest designers in the game right now. Olivia Palermo is always crisp, on trend, and classic. She always looks put together, and I can't wait to see what her fabulous closet has in store for next week.
Other must sees this week are Beyonce's sis, fashion plate Solange Knowles, and of course, KimYe.
I hope you all enjoy NYFW! Don't forget, we've got a whole month of new trends ahead of us! Once the last show has closed in New York, it's off to Paris and Milan!
